Award-winning contributions to VisWeek 2010!

Paper ''Streak Lines as Tangent Curves of a Derived Vector Field'' (published by Tino Weinkauf and Holger Theisel in top journal IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Volume 16, Number 6) was awarded the best paper of the IEEE VisWeek 2010 conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.  Congratulations

Here available:  the paper and three videos: video 1, video 2, and video 3

SemSeg also was involved in another publication at the same conference: paper ''World Lines'' (published by Jürgen Waser, Raphael Fuchs, Hrvoje Ribičić, Günter Blöschl, and Eduard Gröller also in journal IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Volume 16, Number 6) also got awarded (honorable mention)!

Also here available:  the paper and a video

Joint SemSeg state of the art report

All four partners of the SemSeg project have compiled a joint state of the art report (STAR) that attempts to cover a larger number of papers that relate to the research focus of the SemSeg project (4D space-time topology for semantic flow segmentation) as the first public deliverable from the SemSeg project.  Since we attempt to publish this STAR, also, we will publish more information about it on this web page later.
